World War II relics

During World War II Wotje was heavily controlled by the Japanese Imperial Army. It was considered one of its many strongholds throughout the Marshall Islands.
Today the island is scattered with relics. Bunkers, cannons, planes and buildings. A clear reminder of the battle that took place here years ago.
